TREK -- Grades 9-12

TREK is the high school youth group at CBC for students in grades 9-12. TREK meets each Wednesday of the school year (September-May) from 6:30-8:00pm for an engaging evening of activities, Bible-based study, and small group discussion. Typically the last Wednesdays of the month alternate between Small Group Nights and Serve Nights. 

Special events each year include our district "SDYC" youth conference, scavenger hunts, service projects, seasonal activities, and other events — past events have included bell-ringing for Salvation Army, World Vision's 30-Hour Famine, and Dare2Share's outreach training.

Summer brings new opportunities to stay connected, such as Senior High Camp in New Mexico, picnics and other outings, prayer and planning events, service projects, and mission trips. In particular, mission trips provide significant opportunities for challenge and growth as a disciple of Jesus — past trips have included SOAR (through MB Mission: North Carolina, South Texas, Utah, Vancouver), a locally-focused mission experience in Kansas City, and a spring break trip to Nicaragua.
