I know I've talked about this a good bit already, so forgive me if this is overkill! But I again wanted to mention the lecture Friday evening. There are a few reasons you might want to join us. First, we'll have dessert - that's a no-brainer. Second, it's an opportunity to connect with some folks from the denomination and Tabor specifically. A couple Tabor professors will be there - Wendell Loewen and Eric Foster-Whiddon, and it's a great chance to get to know them and support the school. If you have high-schoolers thinking about college, you may especially want to connect with them. Third, I am genuinely excited about my topic. I'll be preaching from Deuteronomy 18, exploring how Jesus is "The Prophet Like Moses," and what that means for us. Afterwards, Wendell will interview me on the sermon, which brings me some measure of anxiety... But it should be an encouraging evening overall! As I said Sunday, feel free to invite others, and if you come it would help to register.

You're also invited to join us for sermons on Saturday! These will be student sermons, which will each last about 15 minutes, followed by 15 minutes of evaluation and feedback from the instructors and class. You are welcome to attend these sermons, and the more people attend, the more I think it actually helps the students. (We would ask however that you simply observe and not participate in the feedback portion.) Students will be preaching in the Worship Center and in the Chapel (note that DAR will be meeting in the Fellowship Hall, so we'll stay away from that side of the building). Also, in case you're interested, Cole Younger will preach at 10:15am (Worship Center), Kyle Becerra will be at 11:30 (Chapel), and Steve Behrends will be at 12:00 (Worship Center)!

Pray for these men in particular, and that God would be glorified through this class! And thanks to the many of you who are helping to make this happen. It's a gift to our denomination and for the further spread of the gospel.
