As this note hits your inbox, I am on vacation. So, this note was written several weeks ago while I was still in the office, and I am speaking to you from the past. Assuming the Lord hasn't yet returned, and assuming our world hasn't devolved into apocalyptic chaos, I encourage you to participate with us in the weekend ahead. I hope you will join us for the Summer Shindig on Saturday the 19th, and share in the opportunity to be together and enjoy each other's company. Feel free to bring friends as well. More than that, if you are a member, please respond to ballots/feedback forms we sent to you. Your votes are critical for the ongoing functioning and service of our leadership. And, plan to join us for the family gathering on Sunday the 20th. There we will discuss and vote on a proposed budget, get more familiar with our new church management software, and talk about some ministry updates.
