Sunday evening we will gather for our semiannual Family Gathering, and I hope you will join us! In advance of and preparation for Sunday evening, please look at the document that you received in the CBC Weekly. In it are this year's ministry reports, as well as a graphic representing our proposed vision statement and new church covenant. Regarding the vision statement and church covenant, I will walk through that on Sunday evening. It is the product of our vision team meetings that met through the fall and into the new year, and I'm excited for you to see it. It paints a picture of where our focus will be for the next few years. It also represents a new church covenant that will be the basis of our membership expectations, as well as a goal for discipleship. Again, I'm looking forward to walking through that with you. Also in the document are the ministry reports. This year, they are a little condensed, but hopefully will give you a good feel for and glimpse of each ministry. More particularly, I hope you'll look at the volunteer needs we have for each ministry. If you're wondering where you might plug in, looking through those needs is a great way to get a snapshot of the needs of CBC! Lastly, at our Family Gathering we will have an update on the church plant, and we will take some time to discuss any questions or comments you may have! More than anything, it's a good chance for us to be together as a church and talk through the Lord's will for the next season of CBC.
