Since we didn’t meet last week, we didn’t have a chance to tell you about our adult Sunday School classes coming up January 12th. (We’ll reschedule those member spotlights for another Sunday.) Here is the information on the new round of classes starting Sunday:

  • Evangelizing Religious Others – Shaun LePage (Fellowship Hall)
How do we take the gospel to “Religious Others” – to those who practice other faiths? This class will give a survey of several other faiths, including Mormonism and Islam, and how we as Christians can speak about Christ and the gospel with those of other faiths.
  • Youth: Biblical Worldview Part 1 – Cole Younger (High School Room)
Everyone feels the physical, mental, spiritual, emotional, and relational pain that we experience because of sin. But are we left without hope? Developing a biblical worldview will allow us to view the world in which we live through the lens of God's word. This perspective equips believers to refresh their own souls and extend hope to the lost through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
  • Ezekiel – Mike Bullok (Basement)
The book of Ezekiel is rich with historic and prophetic significance, preparing the way for Christ to come and redeem His corrupted temple, priesthood, and people. This class will survey this magnificent and often-challenging prophetic book!
  • TULIP – Aaron Halvorsen (Basement)
You may or may not have heard of the “five points of Calvinism,” or you may have thoughts or questions around the debate over “Calvinism” and “Arminianism.” You may have no idea what those things mean at all. If you’re interested in learning more, this class will give an introduction to the discussion and debate, as we grow in our understanding of how God saves.
