A Psalm I often return to is Psalm 46. It is the basis of one of my favorite hymns, "A Mighty Fortress Is Our God." It is a Psalm of encouragement when facing personal turmoil. And it is also a great Psalm to keep in mind when the world itself seems chaotic. As we look to what is transpiring between Israel and Iran, we can see the chaos before us.

Several weeks ago, I first heard about a scholar by the name of Wes Huff. His name was making the rounds for a while before that. He is an evangelical scholar with expertise in ancient documents and works for Apologetics Canada. He gained recent notoriety, particularly on YouTube, because of a "debate" with an influencer by the name of Billy Carson.

1 Peter 3:15 encourages; "in your hearts honor Christ the Lord as holy, always being prepared to make a defense to anyone who asks you for a reason for the hope that is in you..." One of my prayers over the next few weeks is that we will all be a little better equipped to share our testimonies, and why we have hope in Christ.

Last Sunday I talked about the Graduate Studies in Ministry program at Tabor College. I've been personally invested in this project and am excited for it. I know I wrote about this a few weeks ago, but allow me to touch on a couple points and answer a few potential questions about it!
