I'm New!

How do I get there?

We are located at 1304 N Parker St, Olathe, KS, 66061. You can find directions here.

What do I do once I get there?

Drive up the driveway next to the building (church sign to come!), and feel free to park in one of our designated visitor parking spots, or in the main lot. You may notice a lot of the regulars parking on the hill by the church. We do that so there are open parking spots for visitors, so be our guest and park in the lot!

Once inside, say hi to the greeters and you will find the sanctuary to the left. For the nursery, head to the right. You’ll be handed a bulletin as you head into the sanctuary, which will tell you some things about what’s going on in the life of the church.

Is there a dress code?

Nope, but please wear something!

How long is your Sunday Worship Service?

Our services are usually around 90 minutes.

What is your Worship Service like?

Our goal in worship is always to serve and please God by proclaiming the Gospel and lifting our eyes to Him through songs, reading and preaching God’s Word, prayers, and communion (we currently celebrate communion once a month). Worship is fundamentally a joyful response to God’s grace for us. We trust that as we worship Him in unity, we will grow closer to one another as His people!

Do you have anything for kids during the Worship Service?

Yes. The nursery is available for children up to 35 months during both Sunday School and the Worship Service.

Children ages 3-Kingergarden are dismissed for Children’s Church just before the sermon begins. Parents are more than welcome to either keep their children in the service with them, or allow them to attend Children’s Church!

Do you have Sunday School?

Yes. It starts at 9am, and is available for all ages.

Adults meet in the Fellowship Hall, which is back and to the right from the main entrance, past the church offices.

High schoolers and middle schoolers meet downstairs in the lower level.

Children in 3rd-5th grace meet in the old chapel, which is to the right from the main entrance. 2nd graders meet downstairs in the lower level, and preschoolers meet in the classroom adjacent to the old chapel.

During Sunday School, the nursery is available for children from birth to 35 months.

What do you all believe, and what kind of church are you?

First and foremost, we are a people who belong to the risen, living, and reigning Jesus Christ, our Savior, and by God’s grace we imperfectly yet sincerely follow Him. To find out more about what we believe, go here and here. We also belong to a denomination/family of churches called the United States Mennonite Brethren. You can look at their statement of faith here, and can find more information about the USMB at their website.

What if I have more questions?
