Awana

The name Awana comes from II Timothy 2:15 which says that "approved workmen are not ashamed". The goal of this ministry is to reach children and families with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Awana is a world-wide discipleship and evangelism ministry for children and teens. The children's Awana clubs meet from 6:30-8:00pm on Wednesday evenings during the school year.

We will have our Kick-Off/Orientation on August 25. Our first club night will be September 1.

The children's clubs we offer are Cubbies for 3- and 4-year-olds, Sparks for kindergarten through 2nd grade, and Truth & Training (T&T) for 3rd through 5th grade. Teens who want to continue working towards youth awards can work independently under the C-Track option. High school teens are allowed to serve as Student Leaders under the supervision of our Directors.

Currently, registration for our Awana program is closed due to capacity, but you may contact Kris Gerbrandt (kgerbrandt@cbckansas.org) to be placed on a waiting list.
