Parent Update - January 2008
At Community Bible Church, we have youth groups for all students 7th grade through 12th grade. These are dynamic, relationship-based ministries that seek to live out CBC’s vision: building relationships with God, family, and community.
KICKS is the group for students in grades 7 and 8. During the school year KICKS meets at church every Wednesday from 6:30 – 8:00pm for a time of games, food, and Bible study. In the summer KICKS meets for events and activities about once or twice a month including an annual campout in June. Click the KICKS link to the left for information and pictures.
TREK is the youth group for students in grades 9-12. TREK meets year-round each Thursday from 6:30 – 8:30pm for activities, small groups, worship, and Bible studies. In summer there are special opportunities for camp, missions trips, and service projects. Click the TREK link to see more information and pictures.
The CBC Student Ministries desire to lead students to have a passionate relationship with Jesus, to live transformed lives (Romans 12:1-2), and to fulfill their biblical purposes (5 E’s: exalting God through worship, extending love through ministry, evangelizing people through outreach, encouraging believers through fellowship, and equipping God’s people through discipleship).
