Tyranny of the Urgent

Have you ever wished for a 30 hour day?

Do you really think that would solve your problem?

Our dilemma goes deeper than shortage of time. It is basically the problem of priorities. We know what needs to be done, we work hard and go full speed; but when we stop and review where we are and what we've accomplished, we may sense that we've failed to do what is really important. Is there any escape from this pattern of living?

Over the next 6 weeks in Adult Sunday School (starting November 14th), we will look to the example and instructions of Jesus, drawing from the booklet "Tyranny of the Urgent". Our goal will be to identify the urgent demands on our time, set priorities under the lordship of Christ, and experience the power he provides for freedom from the tyranny of the urgent.

Hope to see you this Sunday in the Chapel at 9:40am!
