Awana

Awana stands for "Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed," and is based on II Timothy 2:15. This goal of this ministry is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.

Awana meets on Wednesday evenings, 6:30 to 8:00, during the school year.  Our Awana club offer games, Bible lessons, song times, and verse memorization for children age 3 to 5th grade.  To allow middle school teens the opportunity to participate in both Awana and KICKS (see Youth Ministries), we have added two 15-minute time slots at both ends of our regular time just for them (6:15-6:30 and 8:00-8:15).  High school teens are allowed to serve as Leaders-In-Training under the supervision of our Directors.
